A little R & R....

We've done something this weekend that we haven't done in a long time... Greg and I took some time off. We came to Hilton Head to relax, rejuvenate, get some clarity, and do a little breathing. It's been nice to not have an agenda, to not have our phones ringing off the hook and to not need to do anything. Greg, Ethan and I have really enjoyed our time together and have counted these days as precious. As I am crossing the third trimester line and plowing into the seventh month, we are realizing that these days may be our last "vacation" days before the baby comes. Soon, Mom and Dad will be back from their winter in Hawaii, Greg will do some traveling with US Soccer, then it will be Easter, then school will be out for Ethan, then we will be just days away from the arrival of B3. Amidst it all, we would love to sell our house, (it's been on the market since August), possibly move into a new one, and a get a nursery together before June. We can see adventure on our horizon for sure. Within the last 6 months we have had plenty of days of learning to trust the Lord. Although joy has come every morning after a night of weeping, we are eager to leave this winter and let spring and the subsequent summer fully begin to bloom in us. God has been so good to carry us when we just didn't have the strength and all things winter had set in. Now, we know He will continue to be faithful as we press forward, wherever that may lead, and watch Him make "all things new" in these coming days of spring. It's going to be amazing to see what He's got for us. C'mon spring... we're ready.

I'm so glad the Banks family got some rest and time together.
