As if it's not ALWAYS soccer madness in my house... it is even more so these days. Ethan had his first game of the fall season on Wednesday. He is playing up this year in the U-8 group. He is number 6 for Doctor's Care team. Although they didn't win, Ethan did score a goal to make the game 2-4 at the whistle (but who is keeping score??).
Also, it is World Cup time (for those of you who don't "do" soccer... it's the single largest sporting event in the world every four years). This year, the games are being played in China and all eyes are on the "
Greatest Team You've Never Heard Of". (AKA "Greg's Girls"). The Women of US Soccer are looking great... and although Greg would love to be in China with them, he is being the wonderful daddy and husband and staying home to be with his newest soccer star, leading goal scorer and team mom.
(He's starting him young.... watching the US vs. Nigeria earlier this week)
