Did you ever say something you didn't really mean?....

This afternoon, as I was working in "my office" at home, Ethan came walking in and I said, jokingly and casually over my shoulder, "You wouldn't want to make me a cup of coffee, would you?", knowing full well this was outside of the scope of his normal abilities or even anything I would expect him to do. The next thing I know, I hear the coffee maker going (we have one of those one-cup-at-a-time wonders), cups clanging, refrigerator door opening, and less than 2 minutes later a giggling little boy with a huge smile on his face, brought me a perfect cup of coffee just the way I like it. For this child, I prayed..... :)
