A Big Week...

It's been a big week at the Banks' house.

We watched on TV earlier this week as Abby Wambach, the leading goal scorer for the US Women's National Team, broke her leg in the last "friendly" before the Olympics. Needless to say, she's out... and as Greg started frantically texting all of the US National Medical staff on the sidelines trying to get the latest, all he could say was, "Yeah - this is bad." We're still holding out hope for the US Women in Beijing.... Go USA!!

Greg and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary (can you believe it??!!) on Sunday... we had a lovely evening in Downtown Charleston and then went out to a hot and windy Wild Dunes (where our reception was) to take a walk down memory lane.... the night was much like that wonderful night.. minus the rain! I'm so blessed to have him... and he's handsome as ever.

Brody has mastered all sorts of new motions, sounds and "words". Just a few of our favorites are:

• When you say "Ta Da!!" - Brody throws his hands up and out diagonally like a good little Broadway performer
• He can clap and "wash his hands"
• He is saying "Uh Oh" at the right times.... which is often. :)
• He signs "please" then points at most everything
• He's really getting walking down... looking less like a drunk sailor every day
• He said something tonight, I promise, that sounded like "cheese" when we handed it to him...

Ethan has been at soccer camp (for the second week) and is loving it. Today he called me to tell me that his tooth fell out! It's his very first tooth to go... and he looks cute as ever. Now I've got TWO kids with teething issues!! ;)

So that pretty much gets you caught up with us this week. We'll keep you posted, we promise!
