So, I've been a little on the slack side because I've been recovering from surgery. Eleven days ago, I started on a little journey I like to call "Give Your Organs And All Your Money To Your Doctor". I had a unilateral oophorectomy and salpingectomy. (Yes - I'm going to make you look it up.) Honestly, I wasn't prepared for the amount of recovery from such a surgery, as it was done in the outpatient/day surgery center of our hospital and I thought it would be much like the other two laproscopic surgeries that I had several years back. Boy, I was wrong. I am still in some other kind of pain and have been put on a strict lifting ban for 6 weeks... nothing over 15 pounds. Um... excuse me, I have a toddler. Yeah - figure that one out. I'm so glad I know about God's goodness, mercy and never ending supply of strength.

In the meantime, my mom has been in town (bless you, Gigi) for the past 11 days doing everything for me and my little family.
I'll be doing some posting over the next few days - but here's a few pics. just to hold you over... (I feel like I say that a lot...). I'm sorry, I'm a slogger.
