A few days later, another very exciting game was played between the Women's German National team and the USWNT, in front of a sold-out crowd of 30,000 in Augsburg, Germany. Abby Wambach scored the winning goal for the US making it 1-0 at the final whistle... Go USA!!!
Greg sent these pictures of Munich

and of the famous HaufBraus House... a crazy German restaurant full of lederhosen, liter steins, dancing and men with whips. :)
To honor Daddy - Brody put on Greg's old lederhosen and did some posing.... (more from the fall costume parade....)

The German invasion....
Greg has just returned from a 10 day tour with the USWNT. This time, they were globe hopping in Germany. Germany will be the host for the 2011 Women's World Cup and this trip, and the match with the German National team, kicked off the race for the 2011 World Cup. While there, the team got to see a Bayern Munich Bundesliga match vs Frankfurt...from the front row!!! (Perks of being part of the US Finest.) Score was 2-1 Bayern Munich - which made for a very exciting game - needless to say - in front of 69,000 fans.
Carli and Hope at the game....
Once again, we're so honored that Greg was asked to be a part.... what an amazing ride.

I was blessed to go to Munich via Delta and thought it was so pretty and the buildings were amazing. I enjoyed the glockenspeil...yeah, water...the clock tower. ;-)
