In this tournament, they are playing up an age level and it's been tough competition, but a GOOD stretch for them. Yesterday, they lost both games they played: the first was a big loss and a big wake up call. The second game they fought harder and lost by 1. Today, they played their last game... played hard... won by 1... but didn't make the finals - a three way tie for second.
I wonder how many tournaments we will attend between now and the time Ethan heads off to college. I suppose I should keep a count.... so here goes - 1.

I love Brody's excitement for Ethan and the "away tournament". Brody must have learned that from Gigi. She is the champion of whatever her grandchildren are doing. She would have been jumping up and down prior to the tournament too.

They are adorable. I have a sweet picture of my sister and me in bed and it's one of my favorite, dearest pictures in the world. And travel tournaments?! Oh boy! What a huge leap! He's certainly leaving for college just around the corner. Sigh...
