This afternoon, the 2nd of July, the US beat Columbia 3-0 in Sinsheim as their second game in Group C play in the FIFA Women's World Cup 2011. Goal scorers today were: Heather O'Reilly, Megan Rapinoe, and Carli Lloyd. (This match puts them officially through to the Quarterfinals, although they won't know their opponent for a few days.)
The team plays again on Wednesday against Sweden... go USA!!
Greg got some great face time on ESPN... before, during and after the game. (Greg, you should have heard my phone.. text, email, twitter, facebook - - everything going off and people saying 'I just saw Greg!!'. :) so proud.)
