This week, Brody started full day (as in 8:00a - 2:30p) 4K at a great school in our area. We are really happy that our little guy will be in a class with only 6 other kids and with a teacher who has been teaching 4K for 11 years. All to say, all sadness that I have about him being so little and being in school so long, the Lord is taking care of. For the days that I'm working, Brody is happy at school: learning, fellowshipping with other little people, playing, sleeping, eating and having fun and then goes to an after school program until I get off work. On the days I work from home, I get to pick him up at 2:30... it's really ideal.
I have no idea how we'll make it work next year with Ethan and Brody at the same school, but dismissing at different times, etc... but I'm grateful the Lord is giving us a year to trust Him to figure that one out. For now, my little buddy couldn't be happier.
