After we ate and ate... we went to see the Muppet Movie and our little Muppet friends tagged along for fun...
The days surrounding Thanksgiving this year took on a whole new meaning for me. Ten days before, I had major surgery. Finally freed of a half a life of pain and trouble, I felt overwhelmingly grateful. Five days later I would be back in the hospital for tests, scans, probes, and a handful of questions. Back to square one.
During all the time at the hospital, medicines, tests, doctor's visits, friends caring for us, and the, even today, unknown of what went wrong... one thing remained: The Lord's loving kindness for me and His promise to make all things new.
So as we round Thanksgiving and Christmas and look ahead to the New Year... I'm thankful and full of gratitude to the Redeemer for more than I can say.

What?! How did I not know this?! THIS being that you were still having problems after your surgery?! I hate that I have not checked in in too long. I am going to start hounding you with emails and phone calls. I pray you are back to your Rockin' T self!
