Birthday sneak away...

So.... Julie came to town for the Chosen Women's Conference....

 (I got to lead worship and then hang out with Mamie and Julie... a PERFECT combo!)

 ...and it just so happened to be her birthday weekend.  I managed to get us a girls mini-weekend planned and with permission from the husbands:  dinner out, a boutique hotel overnight downtown, crazy good breakfast and lots and lots and lots of talking. :)  Like a breath of fresh air - an easy exhale.

Ethan and Hannah even got a few minutes to be together... still like peas and carrots.

Nothing's more precious than a friend, nothing's greater than knowing even though there are miles between you, your hearts are knit together.  So grateful for the times we do get to be together... looking forward to the next.
