Soccer Madness... Part Two

In the Banks family, there are two things that we are all for: Loving the Lord and loving soccer. For me, loving the Lord is easy, soccer on the other hand... well, it's an acquired, and very necessary, love... because my boys are MAD about it. For the fellas, well, let's just say, it's in their kit. You know, the "kit" that each little boy gets when he takes his first breath: get dirty, be competitive, love fiercely, protect passionately, work hard, play harder, and be crazy about (insert sport here). For my boys, it's soccer. Ethan played his first game of the spring season tonight, and although they didn't win, he played really well.... check it out.... Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Daddy is with "his girls" (as Ethan says) - in all due respect - the Women of the US National Soccer Team - in Mexico as they defeated Costa Rica 3-0 tonight to qualify for the 2008 Olympics.
