And then the snow came....

Frozen precipitation rarely shows it's icy face in the Lowcountry. It's one of those things that most children here believe only exists in books and on television. Following a decade of hopeful wishing and afternoons spent with faces pressed up against frosty windows, last night, snow arrived in the Lowcountry, and as if by some kind of magical dream, my children got to not only see it, but play in it. And even though we are already missing it, as we know it will be gone just as fast as it came, we feel so blessed to have lived this miracle, this moment. The Lord is so good to us....

Amazing! The picture of your house is so beautiful with all of that snow. What did the boys think of it? So sad we missed the big event. :(

The winter miracle finally happened!! I am sooo proud being the great parents you are, you let them go out (after bed time) and play in this snow!!!! They will remember these two days for ever!!
