Yes, faithful reader, I know there is less than two weeks of school left. Yes, dear ones, I know that I shouldn't be doing stuff like this at the end of the year - not to mention the poor teacher having to add one more student right in the middle of end of the year craziness. However..... we had been looking for a way to get him out of his current school (just not the right fit for the Banks family and our little Brody's heart) and yesterday, seemingly out of the blue but o-so-right-on-time, without breaking a sweat, the Lord opened - no - kicked down - an enormous 30 ft wide solid wood door with metal reinforcements guarded by a batallion of soldiers and flames all around. (He's fierce, fearless and passionate like that, you know.) Point being - it seemed impossible - but with Him, nothing ever is.
Brody came home yesterday happier than I've seen him in months. He talked for at least an hour about his new teacher, school, friends and the entire experience and literally cheered when I told him he would be going back today.
I can't tell you how grateful I am, or how many "I've got this" moments the Lord has given me in the past 24 hours to help me understand the strength with which He carries me and the depth of His dedication to my Brody. Today, all I can say is He is good, crazy good... and I've got my little boy back.

the photo of our Brody boy clearly shows he's not a little guy anymore ... glad to hear all is going well. <3
