Greg in Venice....

My precious husband has had the distinct privilege, again, to be traveling with the USWNT.  (I still can't believe I have the opportunity to type that sentence.)

To secure a spot in the 2011 Women's World Cup, the team had to, ultimately, beat Mexico in the final... they lost - in Mexico.  However, due to their standings, they had an opportunity to play Italy in Italy and then again in Chicago for a chance to qualify.  Greg came home from Mexico, was home for a few short days, repacked his bags and headed to Venice with America's Darlings.

He didn't choose to go to Chicago for the final, it would have meant he would have missed Thanksgiving with us, but the Women of America's finest soccer team qualified for the 2011 World Cup and are headed to Germany (with my husband) in July.

Go USA!!  (Still so proud!)
